Fisker Ocean Extreme Achieves 440 Mile Range

With range being a key factor in deciding whether to “go electric” or not when buying a new car, Fisker have just announced that their all-electric Fisker Ocean Extreme has managed to achieve a combined WLTP range of up to 440 miles (707 kilometres), which is by far the longest range of any battery electric SUV currently sold in Europe. It even exceeds Fisker’s own estimates and provides Fisker Ocean owners with reassuring positive range performance.

CEO Henrik Fisker commented:

“From the beginning, we planned the Fisker Ocean to deliver the highest level of design, sustainability, innovation, usability, and range. We created a fantastic 5-passenger vehicle, offering our buyers range confidence and convenience in every trip.

“This achievement is a major milestone for everyone at Fisker, and we are delighted the range exceeds our initial calculations.”

With this sort of range, UK drivers could realistically drive from London to Glasgow with range to spare. Or if you live on the Continent, you could make the journey from Paris to Frankfurt without having to stop to recharge your SUV.

Fisker is hoping to have European homologation approved by 28th April 2023, with customer deliveries beginning soon after. The first European Fisker Centers+ will be opening in Vienna and Copenhagen on 11th April 2023, with additional Centers+ opening across Europe and the United States during the course of this year.
