The latest Jeep Renegade and Compass models have been given the Night Eagle treatment, with black accents adding a sportier look with new trim levels.
Jeep Renegade Night Eagle
On the exterior, the Jeep Renegade gets 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels and a gloss black grille surround as well as gloss black exterior badging and a dedicated Night Eagle emblem. Tinted privacy glass keeps the car’s interior cool, whilst inside the dark treatment continues with black upholstery and gloss black accents on the steering wheel, speakers and gear leaver surround.
On the tech side, the Renegade Night Eagle is equipped with 8.4-inch Uconnect Nav with Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility, dual zone climate control and Adaptive Cruise Control as standard.
The new Renegade comes with a choice of five body colours, including metallic paint at no additional cost, which is nice to see.
Depending on the type of driver you are, you’ll be please to know that this particular Jeep comes with a choice of two petrol and one diesel engine. There is a 1.0-litre 120hp petrol and a 1.6-litre 120hp diesel engine, both mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The 1.3-litre 150hp petrol engine comes with Jeep’s six-speed DDCT automatic transmission.
Jeep Compass Night Eagle
The Night Eagle package adds to the already extensive standard equipment you get with the Longitude trim on the Jeep Compass, which externally includes a gloss black grille, fog lights and window surround. Even the “Jeep” and “4×4” badges get a touch of the dark theme. The Compass is shod with attractive 18-inch Gloss Black and aluminium alloy wheels, giving it a more aggressive look and it even gets its own dedicated Night Eagle badge.
The interior also gets the black treatment with techno leather and premium cloth seats plus gloss black bezels. For those of you who love your techy gadgets, there is Uconnect™ 8.4-inch touchscreen and Navigation with 3-D graphic, Apple Car Play and Android Auto.
You can choose between two diesel engines and one petrol on this special Jeep Compass. Both the 1.4-litre 140hp petrol and 1.6-litre 120hp diesel engines come with front-wheel-drive and six-speed manual gearbox, while the 2.0-litre 140hp diesel version gest the impressive Jeep 4×4 system.
A nice added bonus to buying one of these new Jeeps is that you will receive a five-year warranty, three-year servicing and five years roadside assistance.
The new Jeep Renegade Night Eagle starts from £23,445 OTR for the 1.0-litre 120hp petrol engine version, while the new Jeep Compass Night Eagle with the 1.4-litre 140hp petrol engine is available from £27,230 OTR.
