Škoda ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS

The first all-electric ŠKODA to wear the brand’s famous vRS badge has just arrived in UK showrooms, priced from £54,370 on the road.

The new Škoda ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS comes fitted with unique sports front and rear bumpers and gloss black surrounds for the grille, window trim and rear diffuser. Also finished in black are the car’s badges, tailgate lettering and air curtain trim on the front apron. The rear bumper has a full-length red reflector, which is a design feature shared will all other ŠKODA vRS models.

A full-length glass roof is fitted as standard, as on all ENYAQ Coupé iV models, as are the black 20-inch Taurus wheels. Alternatively, you can choose 21-inch Vision wheels with an anthracite finish. Both feature aerodynamically optimised plastic Aero trims. The vRS also comes with full LED matrix headlights and Crystal Face.

Step inside the cabin of the ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS and you will find heated black perforated leather sports seats with integrated headrests, grey piping and contrast stitching. To compliment the seats, you also get a leather multifunction sports steering wheel with of course, a vRS badge. Standard equipment includes carbon effect inserts on the dashboard and door trim and aluminium pedals, as well as LED ambient lighting and an electrically operated boot with a virtual pedal.

When it comes to the car’s performance, battery and range, the ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS is fitted with an 82kWh (77kWh net) battery pack which gives it an impressive WLTP driving range of 323 miles. The vRS is equipped with twin motors on each axle that produce a combined power output of 299PS. Maximum torque is rated at 460Nm. This translates to a 0-62mph time of just 6.5 seconds and it has a top speed of 111mph.

When it comes to charging, the ENYAQ Coupé iV vRS can be rapid DC charged at speeds of up to 135kW via a CCS connector. This means an 80 percent charge can be achieved in only 36 minutes when connected to a 150kW charger or faster. However, if you use a standard 7.2kW home wallbox, a charge from empty to full will take around 13 hours.

On the handling side, the Coupé iV vRS is equipped as standard with a sports chassis that is 15mm lower at the front and 10mm at the rear. You also get dynamic steering as standard on all vRS models.
