The new Ferrari Challenge UK 2021 season will get under way at Brands Hatch on the weekend of 14th to 16th May as originally planned in a recent announcement by Ferrari North Europe.
Now in its third year, the Ferrari Challenge UK remains the brand’s only racing series dedicated to a single market. New for the UK series this year is the Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO which has been given an increase in the car’s overall performance and better consistency in race conditions, as well as improved handling for better driver feedback and is the only car eligible for the 2021 season.
The racing activities will kick off on the Brands Hatch Indy circuit on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th May, with the main race taking place on Sunday 16th May on the famous Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit as it did last year.
There will be five further races in the 2021 season which will take place at Donington Park in June, Snetterton in July, Silverstone in September and Oulton Park in early October to round off the season. The Silverstone dates will coincide with a Ferrari Racing Days event, with additional on-track action from the F1 Clienti and XX Programme. All events are also complimented by the Pirelli Ferrari formula classic racing series, organised and managed by the Ferrari Owners Club GB, which is one of the oldest Ferrari Owners clubs in the world.
To make it as easy as possible for clients to participate in races this season, drivers have the option of entering a single race at any of the five race weekends as opposed to having to enter all the races. This is new for 2021 and will be particularly helpful for clients who wish to race at specific circuits or are simply unable to commit to the whole race season.
