This year’s Salon Privé Week took place between Wednesday 28th and Saturday 31st August 2024, occupying the South Lawn the of a picturesque Blenheim Palace. Not only is it a UNESCO World Heritage Site but also the ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.

This ultimate end-of-summer party showcased 72 of the rarest and most desirable collector cars in the world on display in the palace’s magnificent grounds, surrounded by glamour, diamonds and plenty of flowing Champagne.

2021 saw the launch of the Salon Privé ‘Red Collection’, which was then followed in 2022 by the Salon Privé ‘Platinum Collection’ which was curated to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s 70th Jubilee with a stunning selection of rare and historic platinum and silver-coloured cars of all ages.

Last year was the turn of ‘The Yellow Collection’ that was on display in the centre of the South Lawn with a stunning selection of 16 rare and special edition super cars, all in yellow of course and with a combined estimated value of around £30 million. They represented all eras, with the cars coming from a wide range of manufacturers that included Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. It was a bright and memorable collection of beautiful and exotic cars.

This year, the colour-theme was blue with 16 fabulous classic and more modern cars from all eras making up ‘The Blue Collection’ on the Duke’s central cricket square.

The collection of cars of various shades of blue included a 1951 Bentley Petersen Dartmoor Coupe, 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, 1979 Ferrari 512BB, 1980 Lotus Esprit ‘Essex’, 2019 McLaren Senna and a unique 1989 Ferrari F40 finished in Azzurro Hyperion. This fabulous collection of pristine cars was estimated to be worth in excess of £120 million.
