Envoy Tyres, who are new to the market last year with their innovative tyre brand that gives motorists unbeatable value and quality, has announced that it is partnering with with Dan Zelos who will be competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge this season, having won the 2024 Vertu MINI Challenge JCW championship. In fact, he won the championship title a record three times.
It will be Zelos’ first time competing in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB this season, having also made his debut in the BTCC last year, so he is very much ready for a new challenge in 2025.
Zelos’ Porsche Cayman will be sporting a sleek, new race design for the new season, with strong Envoy branding as can be seen in these photographs. The car’s livery has Envoy’s signature colours of green tones on the side and rear panels, spoiler and bonnet, as well as on his race suit and helmet.
Now in its sixth season, the championship gets underway this weekend (26th and 27th April) at Donington Park, with Zelos racing as part of Graves Motorsport team in a 718 GT4 RS Clubsport, which is the racing version of the Porsche Cayman.
The championship then heads to Brands Hatch in Kent on 10th and 11th May, racing on the Indy Circuit, before heading to Oulton Park on 21st and 22nd June. The drivers then head up to Fife in Scotland to race at Knockhill on 16th and 17th August. Silverstone is next on the calendar on 20th and 21st September, before rounding off the season back at Brands Hatch where they will be racing on the GP circuit.
Sean Maddocks, Sales Director at Envoy Tyres, commented:
“We’re thrilled to have Dan join the Envoy family. As our new Envoy partner, we are looking forward to supporting him in the next step of his motorsport journey. The Porsche Sprint Challenge GB is the perfect platform to showcase and debut the Envoy brand as we start to grow its presence around the UK. From the team here at Envoy, we wish Dan the best of luck for the season ahead.”
Speaking about the new partnership, Dan Zelos added:
“This is a whole new chapter for me, and I couldn’t be happier to represent the new Envoy Tyres brand in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB. The fresh livery looks incredible out on track and the Graves Motorsport team has been hugely supportive. I’m excited to see what the season ahead holds.”
