Ginetta and Pirelli Announce New Partnership

Ginetta and Pirelli have announced a brand-new partnership, with Pirelli named as the official tyre supplier for Ginetta racing events until 2025.

This new collaboration between Pirelli and Ginetta is a significant development in the world of motorsport with Pirelli’s premium high-performance tyres fitted on all Ginetta-competing cars from next year and across all Championships, including Ginetta Junior Championship, GT Championship and GT Academy.

With Pirelli’s vast amount of experience in motorsport and their production of slicks, the P Zero Trofeo R and P1 Cinturato tyres will all be used in different Ginetta series. The additional benefit of this new agreement is that Pirelli will also be extending their services to teams, offering insightful technical support.

There is no doubt that Pirelli’s extensive experience in motorsport and endurance racing has made them a global leader in the field. Their innovative tyre solutions have consistently raised the bar for racing performance, making them the perfect choice for Ginetta, a company that is also well-known for its commitment to excellence in motorsport.

Drivers in the Ginetta series will be able to benefit from Pirelli’s cutting-edge tyre technology, designed to provide maximum grip, durability and safety on the racetrack. The tyre manufacturer’s engineers will work closely with Ginetta to understand tyre specifications so as to meet the unique demands of each racing series which will help enhance the overall performance of the cars.

Ginetta is of course well-known for producing exceptional race cars for racing championships at all levels, from rookies right up to experienced racing drives. In fact, many of the world’s top racing drivers made their debuts in the Ginetta Junior Championship, including current W Series champion, Jamie Chadwick and McLaren’s Lando Norris, who has had some superb race results in the second half to this year’s Formula 1 season.
